We’re two work besties turned real life besties turned business partners. 

While working at a full service agency we ✨wore many hats.✨ We were both hired to be content marketing strategists, but pretty much immediately we became, long form content writers, copy writers, email marketing specialists, graphic designers, and operations managers. Obviously way more than any two people could ever possibly do.

We struggled to get the resources we needed from our bosses. In the end, we were able to hire a handful of writers and reskill a couple of our co-workers.

But every time we were given one resource two new responsibilities were put on us just as quickly. And it seemed like whenever money was tight, content resources were the first to go. 

It felt like everyday was a battle in a losing war against people we thought were supposed to have our department’s best interests in mind. 

Even with everything we were up against, we built the company's most profitable department while keeping our highest-value clients happy and supporting the other departments for years.

Needless to say, ya girls were burned the hell out. And we knew we weren’t alone.

Viral Cult was built out of that burn out culture. We decided we wanted to be the help for marketing teams that we wished we’d had. 

We’ve built a network of senior level algorithm specialists, content marketers, and writers, we can lean on so that we never go through what we went through again. Now we get to focus on what we do best and that’s creating high converting content strategies for our clients.
